This media can have different shapes with minimal thickness to achieve the possibility to lay under any aquarium or terrarium tank.EDEN 440 heating mats are formulated to obtain a specific characteristics known as “PTC” (Positive Temperature Coefficient): This link limits the power produced by the resistance itself once a defined temperature is reached in order to avoid overheating without using a thermal switch. The back of resistor is supplied with adhesive coating to ensure contact to aquarium or terrarium surfaces.
